Green Infrastructure, Urban Regeneration & Placemaking
(1) in terms of the establishment of an integrated Green Infrastructure network within the town that will support increased levels of biodiversity and carbon sequestration while enhancing our amenities and spaces and access, we are proposing the establishment of "Tournore Marsh Nature Park (see attached letter)
(2) In terms of Urban Regeneration and Placemaking, we are proposing the regeneration of existing green open spaces, public realms and link corridors between Tournore Park and adjoining estates and the establishment of a biodiversity garden and native tree trail (see attached letter)
*please note that Tournore Park Residents Group have applied to The Heritage Council to acquire funding to facilitate the preparation of a local area biodiversity action plan to assist with the establishment of Tournore Marsh Nature Park, the biodiversity garden and the native tree trail.
