Appendix 2: Specific Development Objectives
Access to & through the city needs to be addressed. Long long lines of traffic in all directions from Sallypark to Manor street to William street are testament to the failure of previous works on the quay. Reducing the quay to 2 lanes has been a failure. These long lines of traffic affect not only air quality and contribute to noise pollution but also reflect poorly on the city.
I would urge immediate works to remove the central median on the Quay and return it to a managed and controlled 4 lane thoroughfare moving traffic in and out of the city in a controlled and efficient manner.
