Chapter 1: Waterford and the Development Plan
Attached is our vision of a collaborative future for the Copper Coast UNESCO Global Geopark, building on what has been achieved so far and exploiting the multi-faceted heritage of Co Waterford within and around the Geopark area.
The Geoparks philosophy is to make full, sutainable use of the natural, cultural and industrial heritage from the earth up to develop a sense and pride of place and community as well as encouraging and supporting local enterprise and tourism using local resources.
We srongly believe that in collaboration with the Council and local communities we can maintain and develop a living heart to County Waterford.
