A New Heritage Strategy for Waterford - Have Your Say
The Waterford City and County Heritage Forum has prepared a Draft Heritage Strategy 2025-2030 (available opposite) and is inviting your input.
The Heritage Strategy sets out strategic objectives relevant to all aspects of heritage including archaeology, built, cultural, intangible and natural heritage which will guide annual action plans to achieve those objectives.
Waterford City & County Council would like to know what you think should be included in the new Heritage Strategy which aims to build on the achievements of the previous heritage plans, while taking into account national heritage initiatives and policy development. Examples include Heritage Ireland 2030, Archaeology 2025, New Culture Ireland 2022-2025, Waterford Local Economic Community Plan, Waterford Tourism Plan and Heritage Funding schemes.
