Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 48 of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, that Waterford City and County Council has prepared a Draft Development Contribution Scheme 2023 - 2029 for its administrative area.
A copy of the Draft Development Contribution Scheme can be inspected at the following locations:
Customer Care Office, Bailey's New Street, Waterford, X91 XH42 and Customer Care Office, Civic Offices, Davitt's Quay, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. X35 Y326 during the hours Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4pm (open through lunch).
Written observations or submissions regarding the Draft Development Contribution Scheme are invited from members of the public and other interested parties during the period Tuesday 18th of October to Tuesday 29th of November 2022, inclusive. Please make your submission by one medium only as follows while late submissions will not be accepted:
· In writing marked “Draft Development Contribution Scheme 2023 - 2029” to the Planning Department, Waterford City and County Council, Menapia Building, The Mall, Waterford City.
All submissions should include your name and a contact address, and, where relevant, details of any organisation, community group or company etc., which you represent. Please note that all submissions will be made available for public viewing on the Council’s consultation website. Waterford City and County Council will treat all personal data you may give as confidential. We will retain your data for no longer than is necessary for the purpose of preparing the Development Contribution Scheme and in accordance with Waterford City and County Council’s Retention Policy and the relevant Data Protection legislation.

The Waterford City and County Council Development Contribution Scheme 2023-2029 was formally adopted by the Elected Members of Waterford City and County Council at its Plenary Meeting on the 9th of February 2023.
