PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS 2001, (as amended) – Part 8
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of Part XI of the Planning & Development Act, 2000 (as amended) and in accordance with the requirements of Part 8, Article 81 and Article 83 of the Planning & Development Regulations, 2001 (as amended) that Waterford City & County Council proposes to undertake the following development:
Change of use from residential to the provision of residential accommodation and associated care services for individuals and families in need of support at the site of the former Good Shepherd Convent, Virginia Crescent, Waterford.
Plans and Particulars of the proposed development may be inspected or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy for a period of (not less than) 4 weeks from 14th November 2025, up to and including 15th December 2025, and during public opening hours at the offices listed below, Monday - Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm.

A submission or observation in relation to the proposed development, dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made by using the online submission form here under "Make A Submission"
or made in writing to: Séamus De Faoite, Director of Services, Housing Department, Waterford City & County Council, City Hall, The Mall, Waterford, to arrive no later than: 4.00pm. on 30th December 2025.
It should be noted that the Freedom of Information Act applies to all records held by Waterford City & County Council.
