Notice is hereby given that Waterford City and County Council propose to: Extend and redevelop the existing playground at the Promenade (L4144), Tramore, Co. Waterford.
In accordance with Part 8, Article 81 of the above Regulations, Waterford City & County Council hereby gives notice of proposals to carry out development works within the existing playground and open space off the Promenade, Tramore, Co. Waterford.
The development will consist of the following:
It is proposed to remove and replace existing end of life equipment with high-quality timber structures for children of ages 5 – 12.
It is also proposed to provide an additional play space for children of ages 2 – 5 to the South of the existing playground. The function of this playground should focus upon inclusive play with natural play where it provides a space and a setting for play.
Associated alterations to existing pedestrian pathways within the playground.
Ancillary seating and signage.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will be available for inspection or purchase, at a reasonable fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, at: Customer Care Offices, Civic Offices, Davitt’s Quay, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford; and Customer Care Desk, Baileys New Street, Waterford between the hours of 9:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday for the period 26th March 2025 to April 25th 2025 inclusive (excluding Bank and Public Holidays).
